In 6 communities in Jalisco and Nayarit, 35 artisans decorate mezcal stoppers with cotton thread using the Wixárika artisanal technique. Each stopper tells the story that inspired the client to launch such a special product.

For this collaboration, about 3,000 stoppers are made monthly, generating significant income for each artisan. Many of them live in remote areas, so this steady income, earned through their traditionally learned artisanal skills, has a high social impact on their families. This project elevates Mexico’s name in various places around the world through craftsmanship.
