CLAY PINEAPPLE POT
San José de Gracia, Michoacán.
These pieces have received several national craftsmanship awards and are created in San José. Pastillaje is an art of detail and discipline. The base is built and the piece is decorated with small pieces of clay that are stuck to it. Once ready, it is bathed in glaze in green, blue or black. Sizes are from 15cm to 1 meter high.
